On the afternoon of Sunday, December 21, 2025, the Tsinghua African Students Exchange Association (THUASA) and Tsinghua Global Youth Dialogue (TGYD) joined forces to host the China-Africa Youth Football Friendly Match at Tsinghua University’s Zijing Playground. The event was expertly coordinated by Sports Directors Amr Wahb, Aleu Bah, and Thendi Tagwa, whose leadership in organizing and active participation helped ensure its success. The spirit of the event was not competition, but collaboration. In a deliberate move to foster real integration, the nearly 30 participants—roughly half Chinese and half international students from Africa and beyond—were mixed into two united teams. The goal was simple: to strengthen China-Africa relationships on a personal, playful, and memorable level.
